PT DH Energy, group of PT Dharma Henwa Tbk .We produces supplies electricity and alternative energy to power utilities and industries. The Company is urgently seeking professionals to fill the following positions at its Headquarter in Jakarta and site operations.as:

 

 

JOB SUMMARY :

Develop strategy, policy, standards, and plan of Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division, as well as direct, monitor and control the implementation of Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division programs and activities within the areas of Legal, Community & External affairs, OHSE, Information Technology, Human Resources and Business Services, to support the achievement of overall company's objectives.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

    *

      Develop Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division' short and long term strategic plan within the areas of OHSE, IT, HR, Business Services, Legal, and Community and External affairs and propose the plans for President Directors' review and approval, so as to provide firm direction and guidance in achieving the set goals effectively and at the minimum risk.
    *

      Direct, monitor and control the implementation of short- and long-term strategies and plans, in line with the overall DH Energy's business strategy, in order to achieve the division target optimally.
    *

      Review annual budget prepared and submitted by each department head within the Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division, finalize and compile the budgets for the President Director's approval, and ensure effective use of the allocated budget, so as to support the operational activities effectively and efficiently.
    *

      In cooperation with Risk/ Government Division, establish Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division Policies and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which inline with overall DH Energy's policies and strategies, in order to provide easy-to-understand and comprehensive guidelines for the employees in Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division.
    *

      Direct and control legal activities by providing legal advice and guidance to relevant function in DH Energy's to ensure that business activities, claims, disputes, contract and agreement are handled and carried out in compliance with the national and international law and regulations.
    *

      Direct and control the Community & External Affairs function and activities by developing and maintaining a favorable climate with local communities, governments, and other related parties to support the smooth operations in DH Energy as well as a positive public's view/ image of the organization.
    *

      Direct, control, and ensure that human resources function and activities which includes organization development, recruitment & selection, people & career development, performance management, industrial relations, compensation, and training & development are conducted effectively and optimally, in order to accommodate current and future needs of DH Energy's operations.
    *

      Direct and control OHSE function and programs by ensuring the agreed OHSE planned, policies, and procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently, employees' awareness on OHSE increased, and work accident can be avoided.
    *

      Direct and monitor the design and development process of company's IT system operation and support, in order to establish the best suitable IT system and processes for overall DH Energy's business operations.
    *

      Direct and control Business Services function and activities, such as office equipment/ supplies and housekeeping facilities in order to support all functions in their day-to-day operational activities.
    *

      Ensure timely submission of all required reports from all Departments within the Legal Counsel/ External Affairs Division, identify critical issues and advise the President Director on action to be taken, in order to support the management decision-making effectively.
    *

      Establish and enhance good communications and strong relationships with internal and external parties in order to support in achieving the division objectives effectively and efficiently.
    *

      
      Monitor and review subordinates' performance, identify their training and development needs, coordinate with the HR Department in developing their capabilities and competencies, in order to improve individual as well as team professionalism, so as to support meeting the Divisional goals optimally.

       Working Experience :

            Fluent in written and spoken English.

Manager, Budgeting and Subsidiary Performance Management     Post Date: 06 Mar 09

KEY BUSINESS/CLIENT GROUP

This position will oversee the development and consolidation of financial budgets in order to help Metra develop short-term and long-term financial targets. Reports to VP Corporate Finance.

 

PURPOSE OF JOB

This position will lead a small team and ensure preparation of financial targets and analysis of financial results with a view to measure financial performance and quantify and investigate variance from budgets.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

    *
      Develop the budget by preparing projections, monitoring budget structures throughout the year and meeting with departments to assist them with budget preparation
    *
      Develops the capital budget by preparing revenue analysis, analyzing bonding issues, meeting with departments to develop projects and incorporating them into the capital budget.
    *
      Supervises the budget personnel by prioritizing work, answering questions, teaching skills and planning and organizing.
    *
      Performs related duties by researching, analyzing, preparing reports, monitoring budget variances, proposing necessary adjustments, and analyzing/developing efficiency rates.

 

SUCCESS METRICS

    *
      Accuracy of financial targets made in budgets vis-à-vis financials results achieved
    *
      Timely analysis of financials and variances from budgets with reasons for variances thereof

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

    *
      Manage the preparation of annual budget for the company, ensuring review for accuracy and compliance
    *
      Development of financial analysis metrics and reports on a monthly/quarterly basis and analysis of variances from budgets
    *
      Manage the financial analysis process and identifying to senior management areas of strategic opportunities and risks, alternatives, and contingencies
    *
      Assist VP Corporate Finance with coordinating the preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports for senior management review
    *
      Manage annual salary setting processes
    *
      Advise, educate, and serve as a resource for operating company executives and senior management on budget and financial issues
    *
      Manage staff charged with the review/approval of management transactions
    *
      Attend routine status meetings with departmental business managers and directors of finance, gaining insight and knowledge regarding financial operating activity
    *
      Develop and mentor staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

    *
      Advanced degree
    *
      5 years or more experience in consulting, strategic planning, and/or operations management experience
    *
      Candidates with understanding of the IT Managed services sector or Media and Entertainment sector would be a plus
    *
      Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

      Demonstrated analytical and quantitative capabilities

      Strong financial analysis and modeling skills

      Excellent oral and written communication skills

      To organize, plan, direct and control all finance/accounting and administration matters with a primary focus on the strict internal controls needed to preserve the integrity and the interests of the region.

      Directly responsible for all aspects of financial planning and control and support management in its profitable growth objectives by assessing financial resources and risks.

      Actively support management in the definition of short, medium and long term business objectives and action plans that are required to fulfill the Company's long term profitable growth goal.

      Thorough assessment of risks, financing requirements and profitability estimation for new projects, JV's, or partnerships, so as to advise management on the financial viability of each one of them.

Qualification:

      Bachelors (MBA preferred) in Finance/Accounting from reputable university; oversea graduate are preferred.

      Have more than 5 years experience within similar position, exposure toward O&G/IT/Telecommunication Industry are a plus.

      Strong organization, tracking, follow-up and analytical skills with the ability to collect, access and report factual data and present logical conclusions.
